Your point about a wow moment is understandable, but at the same time, I'm not sure what exactly you mean by a wow moment. I did ask other people what they thought throughout the music making process because I don't completely trust my own judgement. I did really try on the music though and I thought it came out really well. Soulless actually has its name because the original song was supposed to just be a really hard barely passable song all about the notes and not about the music although by around Soulless 3 I did care about the music. I guess I'm not really sure what I could add here. The song doesn't have a major change in pace besides the solo but that's not any different from the previous renditions of Soulless. I've never really tried to build up a song to one point like you're describing. I am surprised you like tree verse though because that's one of the sections that I like least on Misadventure. I personally feel like this had quite a few good build ups like at 4:29 and from 5:44 to 6:22. The wow moments you are talking are I see more as breaks with the exception of Soulless 3. I didn't really deviate from what I've done with the previous Soullesses besides being a little better at music than I was then. I personally don't feel like any of the previous Soulless's really had a wow moment. Some youtube comment about you FCing Soulless 2Įxactly, it just sucks that Tobi, Gamo, Mafam, and lots of other people who used to play this game have moved to Osu. And the people who play less can still have fun. ![]() I thought the challenge was making a song hard enough that only the top runners of the game can FC them. He hasn't written a single Soulless song with the intention of it being FCable. Have you played the game at a high level enough to experience having huge issues trying to get your combo back in a fast section even when elbow strumming? Exilelord has been working for a long time to get them working. If the slider notes caused you to miss for no reason, then I'm really happy that this fixes that :)īasically, they're consistent by comparison. This is bringing in the feeling of playing the same type of notes, but not missing for no reason I never played them, as I never played any of the GH games on console except PS2. Wouldn't you think that people would play all of those games way more? It's the likelyhood of anyone FCing them is the problem, which is a skill issue and not a song issue. He thought that Soulless 3 wasn't going to be FCable until some of us proved otherwise. I also don't understand the FCable point. They are a godsend for practicing especially. Have you played the game at a high level enough to experience having huge issues trying to get your combo back in a fast section even when elbow strumming? Tap notes are the solution. Basically, they're consistent by comparison. ![]() It makes the game way more fun and less of a chore trying to adjust your playing and fighting the engine. This is bringing in the feeling of playing the same type of notes, but not missing for no reason, which is a good thing. Had the sliders actually functioned properly from WT and onward, wouldn't you think that people would play all of those games way more? Many of us dreaded going for FGFCs on them because of how retarded those notes were. I'm positive Exile has said in one of his videos that the point of them is so that he (And potentially others once we can charts songs with the hacks ourselves) can make hard solos without feeling bad that no one can pass it. The point of the tapping notes isn't to cater to spammers.
